Occupation: God's Servant
Introducing Dennis Kearney. While serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom, he was injured severely enough that he was declared to be 100 % disabled from those injuries, within two years of returning Stateside. This disability prevented him from being able to do what many others can do. When Kearney looked at his options, he realized that he already knew what it was that he had to do-- he had to continue his sacrifice, but this time on God's behalf. That's how his missionary work in Uganda and around the world began. Being God's Servant means being willing to go where God needs you to go and do what God needs you to do, no matter what a personal preference might be. For Kearney, being a servant of God has become quite fulfilling.[…]
